MoreMacVittie Legacy Society
The MacVittie Legacy Society recognizes individuals who have the foresight and thoughtfulness to make bequests and other planned gifts to The Geneseo Foundation, Inc. The MacVittie Legacy Society is named for Dr. Robert W. MacVittie who served as SUNY Geneseo's president from 1963-1979. As he provided the College with a cornerstone of leadership and vision, the MacVittie Legacy Society provides a financial cornerstone that will enable future generations to enrich their lives through a Geneseo education.
The Robert W. MacVittie Legacy Society recognizes donors who establish endowed funds, document their bequests, or support the College through any of a variety of planned giving opportunities.
Like the revered president in whose honor the society is named, its members have a vision for the College and seek to ensure that the quality and opportunity of a Geneseo education will be available to future generations of students in perpetuity.
